The all-new stylish and sporty hi-tech Oakley Vanguard smart glasses, which was unveiled by Meta on Wednesday, has been specifically designed for athletes, mainly for runners, cyclists and fitness freaks, who want to live as well as document even the minutest details of their training. The price seems fairly reasonable given the features it offers, providing professional athletes with an entirely new perspective on their training process.PRICE AND AVAILABILITYThe Oakley Vanguards are priced at $499 and are now available for pre-order through both Meta’s and Oakley’s official websites. The smart glasses will be offered in four color variants: Black with Prizmtm 24K, White with Prizmtm Black, Black with Prizmtm Road, and White with Prizmtm Sapphire, with sales beginning on October 21. They are equipped with a 12-megapixel camera featuring a 122-degree wide-angle lens and can record video at up to 3K resolution. The glasses deliver clear audio even in winds up to 30mph and are built with IP67-rated resistance to sweat, dust, and water.
