A New York City townhouse is letting people step into the land of Oz with its “Wicked”-inspired renovation.
Ahead of the release of “Wicked: For Good,” an NYC home was transformed to include home and lifestyle merchandise inspired by the Universal film. Fans in the area will get to immerse themselves in the walk-through experience for one day only.
Put on by Universal Products & Experiences, each room in the townhouse was decorated to reflect the spirit of “Wicked,” including green and pink decor in honor of Elphaba and Glinda.
A slew of products from all-new collaborations with brands like Stanley, Le Creuset, Voluspa, Pottery Barn, Owala, Gap, Roots and many more are on display all throughout the space.
Some fans of “Wicked” will be able to immerse themselves in the NYC townhouse during the Oct. 1 walk-through fan experience. The free ticketed Eventbrite event sold out immediately upon going live.
TODAY.com, however, has an exclusive look at the fully decorated townhouse, as well as some of the collaborations that are featured inside.
No corner is left untouched as clothing items, backpacks, glassware, candles and incense, chocolates, American Girl dolls and other toys all embrace the world of “Wicked.”
“Wicked: For Good” will see Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba and Ariana Grande’s Glinda reunite and face off after the events of the first film.
In the final trailer, released exclusively on TODAY Sept. 24, Elphaba is seen flying over Oz and writing “Our Wizard Lies” in the clouds.
Elphaba confronts her old schoolmate, telling her she has “no real power,” as they figure out how to save their friendship amid their vast differences. It also gives a glimpse at Dorothy’s arrival with her companions, famously known as the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man and Scarecrow.
Included in the sequel are songs like “No Good Deed” and “For Good.”
“Wicked: For Good” arrives in theaters on Nov. 21.
