Tomahawk steak, raw milk, maple syrup in coffee, red light therapy, and cold plunging are a few of the habits that make up Erling Haaland’s meticulous daily routine. Since launching his YouTube channel last week, over 5.1 million people have already tuned in to watch how the football star lives his day-to-day life. But, it was the world-famous striker's more subtle choice, which has caught the attention of licensed dietitian nutritionist Nicolle Cucco at Muscle Booster: raw honey. As the 25-year-old was filmed leaving Greenoaks Farm in Cheshire, Haaland excitedly told the camera: “You need a bit of honey, you need local raw honey.” And according to Nicolle, Brits should be considering following Haaland’s £7.50 honey health hack this winter. Nicolle said: “Raw honey is historically associated with sore throats, but as hinted at by Haaland, it is a natural substance which can offer a range of health and nutritional benefits, many of which can have an even larger positive impact on the body during the winter, when our immune systems need an extra boost and wounds take that little bit longer to heal.”
