Now You See Me 3 Trailer Reveals Why The 4 Horsemen Broke Up

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t’s new trailer reveals why the Jesse Eisenberg-led group of illusionists broke up. Scheduled to arrive in theaters on November 14, the third movie in the heist franchise sees Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco reprising their roles as the Four Horsemen. Assembled by Morgan Freeman’s Thaddeus Bradley, the group use magic to execute public heists.
In addition to the existing Horsemen, Now You See Me 3 will see the ensemble expanding as Atlas recruits a new generation of magicians, featuring Bosco (Dominic Sessa), June (Ariana Greenblatt), and Charlie (Justice Smith) to bring down a global criminal network.
Now, Lionsgate has unveiled a brand-new trailer, revealing what happened to the Four Horsemen between the second and third movie. Confirmed that they had broken up, Harrelson’s Merritt McKinney admitted that they had gotten cocky over time and made mistakes, which led to the four going their own ways. However, despite the past frictions, the trailer teases the original team reassembled. Check out the trailer below:
What This Means For Now You See Me: Now You Don’t
The first Now You See Me 3 trailer, released in April, offered a glimpse of how things were from Atlas’ perspective. After the breakup, Atlas attempted to form a new team by recruiting three young magicians, but during a heist to steal a heart-shaped diamond from Rosamund Pike’s main villain, the original three Horsemen showed up to his aid.
The new trailer unveils new footage, teasing more danger, action, and magic in the upcoming movie. While the spotlight mainly remains on the Horsemen, there will be surprising cameos in Now You See Me 3. Previously, Eisenberg teased that some appearances would shock fans in a good way, while hinting that the Four Horsemen’s breakup had something to do with Mark Ruffalo’s Dylan.
