“Approving another LNG project means more pollution, higher climate risks, and greater harm to our health,” said Thomas Green, a climate policy adviser to the David Suzuki Foundation. “With wildfires and extreme weather worsening across Canada, it would only add fuel to the fire. It’s a risky economic gamble. Global demand for fossil fuels is peaking, and this project could become a rusting hulk on the coast.”
