North Lanarkshire to host two Remembrance Sunday services and parades

There will be two Remembrance Sunday services and parades in North Lanarkshire on November 9. The first will take place at the war memorial on Airdrie's Monkscourt Avenue at 10.45am. The second service and parade will be at the Cenotaph, Duchess of Hamilton Park, Motherwell , at 3pm. Other locally organised ceremonies may also be taking place in other towns and villages across North Lanarkshire. In addition, a wreath laying ceremony will also take place at the war memorial outside Motherwell Civic Centre on Armistice Day, Tuesday, November 11, at 11am.
