Lando Norris has said cutting out the outside noise is behind his late-season surge that has left him on the cusp of a first-ever Driver's Championship title. The McLaren driver's comfortbaly won the Brazilian Grand Prix to extend his lead at the top. He lies 24 points ahead of teammate and title rival Oscar Piastri, who finished fourth in São Paulo. The win in the race capped off a perfect weekend for Norris, who also won the sprint race on Saturday. "Just ignore everyone that talks c**p about you! Just focus on yourself," Norris told Sky Sports, when asked about the reason behind his form. "The team are doing an amazing job, giving me a great car. "We are pushing hard every single weekend and I'm pushing hard away from the track. "Rewarding. It doesn't come easy. To be honest, I don't think we were the quickest today but I'm glad to take home the win."
