The Governor’s Office is calling for nominations for the King’s Birthday Honours, which recognise outstanding individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Cayman Islands. Each year, the honours list celebrate individuals who make a real difference in their community or profession; enhance the reputation of the Cayman Islands; show leadership, innovation, or moral courage; and/or serve others through voluntary work or public service. The honours span fields such as community and voluntary service, arts, media, health, education, science, sport, business and civil service. The King’s Birthday Honours list is announced on King Charles III’s official birthday, traditionally celebrated in June. Anyone can submit a nomination, the Governor’s Office noted. Forms and guidance can be found at: www.gov.uk/honours/overview. Nominations can be submitted to the Governor’s Office via email, in person or by post. The Cayman Honours Committee will review submissions and forward selected nominations to the UK. Deadline for submissions is Thursday, 20 Nov. 2025.
