Numerous individuals make mistaken judgments about people’s careers based on their appearance, which is precisely what routinely happens to Geordie Niamh Rosenvinge. The stunning blonde beauty says folk would never guess she’s actually currently studying to become a commercial pilot, and she adores surprising people with the revelation. Followers in the comments of her TikTok profile dubbed her “amazing,” requesting advice on how they can pursue similar paths and how she entered aviation, but she handles it with ease. Niamh revealed her “perfect” day includes piloting an aircraft and having her hair styled – because, unsurprisingly, a woman can accomplish both! “Come with me flying towards my commercial pilot’s license,” she began the clip by stating, demonstrating she’d grabbed herself a morning coffee. Niamh initially “planned her route” using a map, before conducting her “walkaround, checking the fuel”. Examining fuel represents a compulsory process when operating an aircraft. Its function is to verify if water has entered the fuel tanks, according to Aviation Stack Exchange. The journey that she undertook was “from Teeside to Whitby, then Scarborough,” and she displayed some of the incredible sights she witnesses whilst flying. Once she was back on terra firma, she headed out for a delicious-looking and well-earned brunch with her mum in Durham. Subsequently, she went to have her hair styled, choosing a bouncy curl vibe. “She was getting her next client to guess what I do [for work]. It was so funny. No one ever guesses that I’m training to be a commercial pilot,” Niamh concluded the clip. In the comments section, someone enquired about how she entered the aviation field, prompting her to elaborate. Niamh explained: “Of course! I started by getting my PPL (private pilot’s license) at Eshott’s in Northumberland. That license meant that I could fly a small aircraft and take friends and family up with me. “I loved it that much so I decided to go on and do the training for my Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL)”. Fellow users praised her progress, asking about the difficulty of her examinations. Niamh revealed: “For ATPL exams, some subjects were straightforward, but I did struggle with some subjects like Principles of Flight”. Viewers posed fascinating queries, including: “First video I’ve seen this is amazing!! How do you know where to fly so you don’t cause problems for other people flying?” Niamh replied: “Thank you so much! Usually air traffic control let you know where other aircraft are then I will reply to them ‘traffic in sight’ when I can see it. “Also, look out for charts for controlled airspace and danger areas. Hope this helps!”
