'No Chance': Tony Bellew Names Only Boxer Terence Crawford Can't Beat

Tony Bellew has named the one fighter that Terence Crawford has ‘no chance’ of beating.
Crawford has a perfect record of 42-0 so far in his career and has dominated the super lightweight, welterweight, and super middleweight divisions. He has won 18 different world championships across five weight classes, and became only the second man ever to be a three-weight undisputed champion, the first during the four-belt era.
Most recently, he had a massive win against Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez, winning by unanimous decision in September. Crawford was very impressive during the fight, and continued his streak of never being knocked down, let alone beaten.
Terence Crawford’s Next Fight
Immediately after the fight, speculation began mounting about who Crawford’s next opponent would be. Unified WBO and IBF middleweight champion, Janibek Alimkhanuly, has called him out, which would represent a chance to add another belt to his collection. However, ‘Bud’ has kept very quiet over his future plans, but has suggested that he could retire from the sport, or continue at 160lbs.
On Friday morning, Crawford and Turki Alalshikh, the head of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, teased that there may be something in the works, but not for a while yet. Speaking to The Ring, Alalshikh said: The champ has a lot of surprises for his city and for the future. He wants to rest now for one or two months, then we will tell you the surprise.”
One name that was very impressed with Crawford’s performance against Canelo was former WBC cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew. After the fight, he posted on X: “Wow just wow!! When they first mentioned this fight, I was laughed at for picking him! People wanna say he’s boring! Nothing boring about pure boxing and perfection! Game plan was on point and Bud was exceptional! He’s now amongst the boxing gods!”
Tony Bellew Doubts Terence Crawford Against One Boxer
However, there is one fighter that the Bomber thinks is a step too far for Crawford. That is Russian fighter Dmitry Bivol, who is currently the undisputed light heavyweight champion. In the comments of Bellew’s original post, someone commented: “He can beat Bivol by the way,” to which Bellew responded: “No chance… that’s a step too far…”
