The makers of Prabhas's upcoming film The Raja Saab have dismissed rumors about a delay in its release. People Media Factory, the production company behind the movie, confirmed on Tuesday that it is still scheduled for a grand theatrical release on January 9, 2026. The team also assured fans that VFX and other post-production works are progressing rapidly. The first single from The Raja Saab will be released on Wednesday, November 5, according to 123 Telugu. Producer TG Vishwa Prasad revealed that a second trailer will be released closer to the film's release date. The movie also stars Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, and Zarina Wahab in significant roles. SS Thaman is the music composer. The trailer of The Raja Saab opens with Prabhas in a hypnotist's office, where he is asked to concentrate as the classic Bappi Lahiri and Usha Uthup song Koi Yahan Nache Nache plays. The trailer introduces Dutt's character through Irani, who describes him as an exorcist, psychiatrist, and hypnotist. It ends with a glimpse of Prabhas's older avatar, hinting at his role as the evil grandfather. The Raja Saab is written and directed by Maruthi and produced by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment. The film was officially announced without specifying the month in 2024, but the latest release date was announced on Prabhas's birthday this year. It features Prabhas in dual roles, alongside Malavika Mohanan (in her Telugu debut), Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Dutt, Irani, and Nayanthara in a special song.
