Mumbai [India]: The Bvlgari Serpenti Infinito exhibition at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) in Mumbai on October 1 was a dazzling affair that blended Italian luxury with Indian elegance. Among the evening’s most talked-about appearances were those of Nita Ambani and her daughter Isha Ambani, who turned heads with contrasting yet equally striking styles.

Nita Ambani dazzles in handloom pachrangi saree

Nita Ambani, known for her timeless sense of style, broke away from the event’s sea of glamorous gowns to embrace traditional Indian attire. She wore a black and silver handloom pachrangi saree featuring intricate chevron detailing and a Banarasi gold zari border. The saree was designed by the label Swadesh, while the striking rani pink silk blouse was crafted by designer Manish Malhotra.

Her styling reflected understated sophistication — she draped the saree in a classic way, letting the pallu trail gracefully to the floor. To complete the look, Nita Ambani accessorised with emerald earrings from her personal collection and a rare Bvlgari Serpenti Rainforest bracelet, embellished with emeralds and diamonds.

Meeting global icon Priyanka Chopra at the event, Nita Ambani’s ensemble stood out as a celebration of Indian craftsmanship fused with luxury jewellery.

Isha Ambani’s rare rose gold masterpiece

While her mother chose tradition, Isha Ambani opted for a modern international look. She wore a custom Ashi Studio gown featuring a plunging U-neckline, corseted bodice, and flowing skirt with a dramatic train. But it was her jewellery that stole the spotlight.

Isha adorned herself with the Bvlgari Serpenti Divine Monsoon necklace, a rare rose gold creation studded with tanzanites, tourmalines, rubies, and diamonds. The piece, which fashion critic Diet Sabya praised as “needing a movie of its own,” became the highlight of the evening.

Continuing her tradition of borrowing pieces from her mother’s treasure trove, Isha also wore a vintage yellow diamond Bvlgari ring that Nita Ambani had acquired in New York more than 25 years ago.

For makeup, Isha kept her look soft and feminine with blushed cheeks, feathered brows, glossy pink lips, and shimmering pink eyeshadow, while leaving her hair open in natural waves.
