AgenciesRepresentative image The Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Authority (UPIDA) has ordered the Yamuna authority to recalculate the land allotment to listed developer Nimbus Projects, giving them extra 1.1 million sq ft area with a development potential of Rs 1,100 crore. Acting on the company’s revision petition, the principal secretary, department of industrial development, government of Uttar Pradesh, has directed Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority to recalculate the land allotment after giving due credit for the interest paid by the firm. The revision petition was filed after the firm had earlier surrendered 55,219.178 sq. m. of land from a total of 102,995.70 sq. m. under the Project Settlement Policy (PSP) framework. The Principal Secretary’s order, dated July 15, 2025, effectively accepted the company’s plea, bringing the long-pending issue to a close and paving the way for future development.“The favourable order from the government will help is in accelerating next phase of growth. The company’s sales bookings rose 8.63% year-on-year to Rs 239 crore in Q2 FY 2025-26, compared with Rs 220 crore in the same period last year.
