What I Loved I love the design of this shoe. The ’70s retro flair is to die for, and the “puffed” Swoosh logo is somehow both cute and bold, yet simple all at the same time. I’m a sucker for color, but for this pair of shoes, I wanted something super versatile. I got the White/Black/Gum colorway, and it’s perfect. I had no issue wearing these shoes day after day with different outfits. What Could Be Better So, is there anything I don’t love about the shoes? My answer to that question is very nearly no. I really like these shoes. They look good and go with almost everything. Each day, I was genuinely excited to put them on. I wore them to the movies, my husband’s belt promotion ceremony for jiu-jitsu, and to watch the University of Houston men’s college basketball team win their second game of the season. All that said, there is one small change I would make to the shoe: Widen the toebox. My foot shape is narrow through the heel and midfoot, and slightly wide at the toes. This means I tend to find the toebox of a lot of shoes to be slightly cramped. This rang true for the Nike Pacific. I found the toebox to be confining both horizontally and vertically. Outside of that, I thought the shoes were great. They were easily my top pick from my shoe lineup while getting dressed each day. The Bottom Line In my opinion, these retro Nike sneakers are a great buy. They’re versatile, comfy, and have style for days. Whether you get the white and black for easy matching (like I did) or one of the bold colors (like I want to), you’ll get a quality shoe that both looks and feels good.
