The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume has asserted that the country needs healing, peace, and divine guidance to over the multifaceted problems. He made the assertion at the 21st International Prophetic Prayer Conference of the Throne Room Trust Ministry, Kafanchan, over the weekend. Represented at the conference by the wife of his Chief of Staff Pastor Mrs. Mary Chris Taka, the SGF expressed the Federal Government’s appreciation for the Throne Room’s consistent role in promoting unity, moral reawakening, and national cohesion through prayers. He noted that faith-based organisations such as the Throne Room Trust Ministry remain vital partners in nation-building, saying , especially now that the country needs healing, peace, and divine guidance. The five-day global event, which drew pilgrims and ministers from across Nigeria and from African countries and other continents, was themed “The Day of the Spirit.” The conference featured intense sessions of worship, prophetic declarations, and intercessory prayers for nations, leaders, and the Body of Christ. Leading the congregation in fervent prayers, the Vision Pioneer of the Throne Room Trust Ministry, Apostle Dr. Emmanuel Nuhu Kure, prophesied that “a wave of change will soon sweep across many African nations, one that will shake systems and expose hidden works of darkness.” He, however, reassured that though the plague that follows may strike fear in the hearts of many, those who truly trust in God will be preserved. Apostle Kure, who is a one-time National Secretary of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN), declared that the Church must stay alert in this “day of the Spirit,” emphasizing that revival and reformation are the next divine agenda for Africa.
