What is chili? That's the question posed at the third annual Existential Chili Cookoff at 2 p.m. Nov. 2 at Nietzsche's (248 Allen St.). Contestants pay $10 to enter their chili into the competition. Attendees pay $5 to sample each chili and vote for their favorites. Sign up to compete at The Intersection Cafe (100 Elmwood Ave.). Nietzsche's and The Intersection Cafe are hosting the chili competition to raise money for Friends of Night People; half of the proceeds benefit Friends of Night People while the other half will be split by the chili cookoff winners.
