The National Institute of Design (NID) is inviting applications for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) for admission to BDes and MDes programs. Interested and eligible candidates can apply on the official website, admissions.nid.edu, until December 1, 2025, by 11:59 PM. As per the schedule, the NID DAT 2026 prelims for both programs will be held on December 21, 2025. For BDes program, candidates who have passed or will appear for higher secondary (10+2) qualifying examinations in the academic year 2025–26 in any stream (Science, Arts, Commerce, Humanities etc.) from any recognised board of education, such as CBSE, IB, ICSE, or equivalent, can apply. For MDes program, a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in any discipline awarded by any university or educational institution is required.
