Nick Sirianni addresses NFL trade deadline heading into Eagles' Bye week

The Philadelphia Eagles are entering their Bye week after taking down the New York Giants, 38-20, on Sunday afternoon. They actually won't step on the field again until Nov. 10 for Monday Night Football against the Green Bay Packers. However, that doesn't mean they won't be busy between now and then with getting healthy and making sure everyone stays on the same page. There's also the NFL trade deadline on Nov. 4 that the Eagles might be extra focused on with their time "off," but according to head coach Nick Sirianni, it's business as usual for him and the rest of the Philly organization. "Regardless of the scenario, whether we have a game, whether we have a short week with a trade deadline coming up, [we ’re] always [in] constant communication with Howie about everything," Sirianni said when asked if the Bye week let's him be more involved with the trade deadline. "We find time to do the things that are necessary to help the team win, help the team get better, whatever it may be. "Obviously, this week’s very important for us as far as our self-scout and identifying some different things, and [it ’s] always going to be a busy week. But I wouldn’t say because we don’t have a game this upcoming week [that] it’s any different because you just find the time to do the things necessary to help get better and help the team win." The Eagles have at least one glaring need they must address at the deadline Sirianni might be business as usual, but one thing’s certain, general manager Howie Roseman will be using this downtime to work the phones. With a clear need at cornerback ahead of the trade deadline, it would be surprising if the Eagles don’t make a move. Roseman, who’s already pulled off six trades since August, still has plenty of draft capital at his disposal because of it. Some names to watch at cornerback over the next few days include Seattle Seahawks' Riq Wooden, New Orleans Saints' Alontae Taylor, and New York Jets' Michael Carter II.
