The one-mile walk will begin at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Seneca Square, near the Fourth Street entrance to the Seneca Niagara Casino.
The event will remember thousands of Seneca Nation members and other Indigenous Americans who were forced to live in government-run boarding schools where students were stripped of their culture during the 1800s and 1900s.
Participants will walk through downtown to the Niagara Falls State Park and pause for a moment of silence at Prospect Point.
