Yahoo Sports recently shared a cascade of pictures on their Instagram profile. The caption of the post celebrated Hall’s first global gold medal at the World Athletics Championships. She also became the first American to win the heptathlon world title since 1993. But Slayton’s celebration surpassed everything else. Yahoo Sports shared a picture of Darius Slayton wearing a black T-shirt on the field. But it wasn’t just any T-shirt. It featured ‘Anna Hall’ written in bold with her photographs printed on either side of the black fabric. So, did Slayton know beforehand that Hall was going to win?
Well, you can actually say so. When Hall asked him about the shirt via text, Slayton confessed that he had ordered the print more than a couple of weeks ago. He claimed, “Well, i made up my mind like 2 1/2ish weeks ago that you were gonna win worlds. And i know I’m never wrong. So i had the world champ shirt made. So it would be ready by time you won.” And Hall’s reaction? Two words – “this man” – followed by three emojis – “ 💀😭♥️.”

Slayton and Hall turned their relationship public in late 2024. It all came to light when the heptathlete shared a cascade of pictures on Instagram. And one of these pictures had a snap of Hall and Slayton in each other’s arms, by the seaside. And the caption? A playful and simple, “all the things❣️👙🙆🏽‍♀️🥰🏃🏽‍♀️🎀.” And ever since then, we’ve seen multiple instances where the NFL star stood in support of his girlfriend.

Darius Slayton and Anna Hall leave no chance to express their love
The support system was highlighted back when Anna Hall made her season debut at the 2025 Hypo Meeting at the Mosle Stadium, Austria. On the first day, she led the event with a score of 4161. She crossed the finish line in just 13.19 seconds in the 100m hurdles and made the 200m dash in just 23.37 seconds. She topped the high jump with 1.95m, and threw the shot put 14.86m far.
But in reality, her power seemed to come from Slayton, who was cheering for her from the stands. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Hall shared a picture of her embracing her boyfriend. In the caption, she wrote, “means the world to have you here ❤️. This man has heard a LOT of track rants 😅.”
