NFL makes a statement on Tom Brady drama that's worrying Washington Commanders fans ahead of Week 3 matchup

Tom Brady has been a hot topic today, with a lot of people being critical of his involvement with the Las Vegas Raiders coaching staff and his broadcasting position. Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders and also the highest-paid sports broadcaster ever after signing a 10-year deal worth $375 million with Fox. Not a lot of people are happy with the conflict of interest after what we learned during Monday Night Football. This directly impacts the Washington Commanders with their matchup against the Raiders on Sunday, and Brady’s involvement with the Commanders already this season. The NFL saw the talk last night and spoke up against it, and it should calm Commanders fans.

Conflict of interest?

Last night during Monday Night Football, we saw Brady in the coaching booth with a headset on, and we also learned that he meets with offensive coordinator Chip Kelly two to three times a week to watch film, and gameplan against teams that he’s likely called games for. The NFL released a statement Tuesday morning addressing that Brady is doing nothing wrong with both of his positions with Fox and the Raiders.
