Shedeur Sanders is still officially the Cleveland Browns' backup quarterback, but at least one person thinks those days will end soon. After a 27-20 loss at the New York Jets, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced that the AFC North's current cellar-dwellers would be sticking with Dillon Gabriel as their starter over his fellow rookie:“We’re going to stick with Dillon. Obviously, young players that you’re always trying to get one game better.”However, Jonathan Jones thinks Sanders will eventually get his first snaps as a starter. He said on CBS Sports HQ:"It's hard to say [the Browns] didn't lose today because of Dillon Gabriel. I don't know if it's this upcoming week, I don't know if it is this next week, but sooner rather than later, we will finally see the debut of Shedeur Sanders."
