Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn was left bloodied after being hit on the sideline by his own quarterback, Marcus Mariota.
During the second quarter Commanders game against the Las Vegas Raiders, Mariota rushed toward the sideline and was pushed out of bounds Raiders star Tristin McCollum.
Then came the sickening collision between Mariota and Quinn, where the head coach hit the ground harshly, with the back of his head hitting the turf.
Every single Washington player or staff member in sight rushed over to help Quinn, who got back to his feet under his own power.
He was eventually given a towel to wipe off his bloody nose by a team official. Quinn continued to coach the rest of the first half.
McCollum was not called for a penalty on the play despite Mariota nearly being out of bounds at the time of the collision.

Quinn hit the turf after being run into by his own quarterback, Marcus Mariota, on Sunday
After halftime, Quinn jogged back out onto the field to a roaring applause from Commanders fans, waving back at those who cheered for him.
The NFL does not have a concussion protocol for head coaches, with the type of hit Quinn took typically leading toward getting checked out by a team doctor with how his head recoiled off the ground.
Quinn was listed at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds during his playing days at Salisbury University, while Mariota is 6-foot-4, 222 pounds and hit his head coach while running full speed, with pads on.
Mariota is the Commanders starting quarterback on Sunday due to a knee injury to Jayden Daniels that he suffered in Week 2 against the Green Bay Packers.
Daniels is not expected out long term, with Mariota impressing in his temporary rise to starting status, rushing for a touchdown on the opening drive of the game.
