NeXt Founders programme for young minds to be launched in Mysuru on Sept. 19

TiE Mysuru has announced the launch of NeXt Founders Programme 2025, a flagship initiative designed to promote student entrepreneurship by providing a platform for young minds to transform their ideas into impactful ventures.

The programme connects students with problem statements, mentors, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners, enabling them to gain real-world exposure, build entrepreneurial skills, and create innovative solutions. By nurturing student-led startups, the programme aspires to strengthen Mysuru’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and inspire the next wave of founders, the organisers said.

The launch event will be held on Friday, September 19, from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at Jagannatha Centre for Art and Culture (JCAC) in Mysuru.

The event will begin with a welcome and presidential address by Bhaskar Kalale, president, TiE Mysuru, followed by opening remarks from Ram Kevalur, board member, TiE Mysuru. The keynote address will be delivered by Pavan Ranga, managing director and CEO of Rangsons and president-elect, TiE Mysuru. A special session on ‘Role of Youth Entrepreneurship in Atmanirbhar Bharat’ will be conducted by Chandu Nair, executive committee member of The Chennai Angels, angel investor, and startup advisor.

Dharma Prasad, founder and director of Funpluslearn Solutions and programme chair of the NeXt Founders initiative, will provide an introduction to the programme. This will be followed by a special address by Madan Padaki, trustee of TiE Global and president, TiE Bengaluru. The programme will conclude with a panel discussion on ‘Challenges and Rewards of Being a Student Entrepreneur’, featuring an interactive session with young entrepreneurs. Shrinkhala, co-founder, Inside Out; Adarsh Ramesh, founder, Inside Out; Bhuvan P., founder-in-making, Excel Public School; Pruthvi M.P., founder, MyChessLab and GenVision Technologies, will participate at the event. Sreenidhi G.S.D., founder, Cynefian, will moderate the session, a press release said.

The event is expected to bring together local entrepreneurs, startups, industry partners, faculty, and students from leading institutions, it added.

Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Kalale said, “NeXt Founders is more than just a programme — it is a movement to ignite entrepreneurial aspirations among students. With Mysuru’s growing startup momentum, this initiative will ensure that young minds receive the right guidance and opportunities to succeed.”
