Disney’s Animal Kingdom has a new zebra, named Zarifa, visible to guests as they explore the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail. We saw this beautiful zebra behind scrim last week hanging out with Ziggy, (another zebra on the trail). Zarifa is about the same age as Ziggy so no wonder they are already close friends. The Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail is her new home at the park with the rest of her dazzle or herd. Only a few months ago flamingo chicks debuted at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Dr. Mark Penning — VP of Disney’s Animals, Science, and Environment — posted about the chicks on Instagram. “We have some fun flamingo news from Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge!” Penning wrote. “Our flamboyance of greater flamingos have some new chicks!
