Operation Smile is beaming in the direction of Mira Sorvino, MrBeast, the Cotto family and Viet Hoang. The organization — a global nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap of essential surgeries and healthcare, starting with cleft surgery and comprehensive care — has announced the program lineup for its New York Operation Smile Gala. The event is set to host more than 400 at Sony Hall in Times Square on Wednesday evening. Pritika Swarup, model, influencer and Prakti Beauty founder, has been tapped to serve as the gala host. Oscar winner Sorvino, fresh from wrapping a run in Chicago, will receive the Universal Smile Award while internet superstar Jimmy Donaldson aka MrBeast will be feted with the Cotto Changemaker Award for his advocacy and support of Operation Smile programs. The Cotto family will take home a Founders Circle Award, doled out in support of their generational philanthropy and advocacy. Philanthropist Viet Hoang will be honored with a Wallis Annenberg Public Service Award in tribute of a longstanding commitment to raise millions for surgical care. In addition to awards, there will be plenty of entertainment during the speakeasy, big band swing and Broadway-inspired celebration courtesy of veteran actor and performer Zachary Levi, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Lee Goldyn, Voodoo Orchestra X from Caleb Chapman’s Soundhouse, Byrdie Wilson and other Broadway stars. Guests will be treated to a dinner, tequila and gin speakeasy sponsored by Teremana Tequila and Himbrimi Pure Icelandic Gin, a bubbles room sponsored by Freixenet, a curated silent auction and dancing of the Roaring Twenties.
