Momčilo Babić has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Serbia to Uzbekistan, Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov announced on his Telegram channel. According to the report, the minister accepted the credentials of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Momčilo Babić. During the meeting, both sides expressed their mutual readiness to further strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in political, economic, cultural, and other spheres. “We wish the Ambassador success in his responsible mission to deepen the relations between our nations,” the statement said. It is worth noting that earlier this week, it was announced that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić will pay a visit to Uzbekistan.
