Here's the latest. If you've been online at all in the last week or so, you know that there's been a lot of talk about Stranger Things star David Harbour — specifically around his alleged conduct on set towards co-star Millie Bobby Brown. Brief recap: Over the weekend, rumors emerged that Millie had allegedly filed a "harassment and bullying claim" against David ahead of filming Stranger Things' final season — and that the claim allegedly included "pages and pages of allegations." As speculation swirled and no further details emerged, unearthed quotes and clips were pieced together to locate any clues as to what had gone down between the two actors. Then, the pair had a very chummy display during the red carpet for the premiere of Stranger Things' final season — which is increasingly competing for attention amidst the myriad chatter surrounding all things David. Complicating matters further were statements made on the red carpet from the show's producer Shawn Levy as well as co-creator Ross Duffer (the one on the left). While Shawn referred to recent speculation as "wildly inaccurate," Matt's statement had a different tone: Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal on-set matters," he told the Hollywood Reporter. "But I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point, they're family and we deeply care about them. So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.” Well, Variety has a new report from sources close to the show, and it claims that an investigation did take place as a result of a complaint made by Millie — and that the investigation was apparently resolved. The report also claims that David won't be part of the press junket when it comes to Stranger Things' final season — but, also, that the decision was made ahead of the recent speculation, citing scheduling conflicts as the reason for his absence. As for the red carpet itself, David only granted one interview to Entertainment Tonight, and he said the following about Millie: “I adore her, and I’ve been proud to watch all of them grow up and become such great artists…this particular project is so special, and we’ve gotten to know each other so deeply.” We've asked Millie's and David's reps for further comment, and we'll let you know if we hear back.
