New photos reveal sordid truth about Atlanta dentist who sparked desperate police search by 'vanishing' on way to work… no wonder her husband and son are 'in bits'

At a glance she looks like any other petite blonde in the subrubs out for weekend trip to the mall with her boyfriend. But exclusive Daily Mail photos show she is none other than Dr. Melanie Nadler Litt, the popular Georgia dentist who bizarrely went 'missing' two weeks ago, before it was discovered that she had disappeared to be with another woman's husband. The Daily Mail spotted the 52-year-old married tooth doctor and her new beau, Anthony Nestor, 56, strolling to the Town Center mall in Kennesaw, Georgia, on Saturday morning. The pair seemed anxious to avoid being recognized, with Nadler Litt repeatedly looking around and appearing to shield her face with her long blonde locks. The mother-of-one appeared tense, her arms folded. Nestor, yawning, was looking straight ahead. The pair avoided any displays of affection, with the only tender moment appearing to be Nadler Litt gazing up lovingly at Nestor as they walked into the mall. Nestor, who was wearing a T-shirt and shorts and had unexplained scratches and bruises on his legs. The couple spent time casually browsing stores, in no apparent rush to return to their respective spouses, who anxiously filed police missing person reports when they vanished without a word almost two weeks ago. But their disappearing act was rumbled on October 19, when Nadler Litt's former patient, Billy Robinson, spotted her with Nestor at the local mall and called police. Cops arrived at the scene and spoke with Nadler Litt and Nestor, according to footage Robinson shared on his social media. On Saturday, a disheveled-looking Nadler Litt and Nestor were wearing the exact same outfits they were seen in in the video footage shared by Robinson – suggesting they took few, if, any changes of clothes from their respective homes. Nadler Litt wore a light blue T-shirt, navy slacks and trainers, while Nestor wore a black t-shirt, grey shorts and trainers. The mall where the couple were couple spotted is just a short walk from the under $100-a-night Comfort Inn they have made their temporary love nest, the Daily Mail can reveal. The pair were tight-lipped when approached by a Daily Mail reporter close to their hotel. Asked about their relationship and when they planned on talking to their spouses, Nadler Litt remained silent and turned away. Nestor said 'no comment' and when questioned about the safety of Nadler Litt he threatened to call police. When they were first discovered, Cobb County Police insisted Nadler Litt 'was not in any danger' and there was 'no indication of foul play'. Police declined to reveal further details to the Daily Mail, citing 'privacy considerations'. Speaking to Daily Mail from the Marietta home he shared with Nadler Litt and their college-age son Stephen, husband Leslie Litt said 'I would love to see my wife home safe' so they can 'work out' what they are doing. He said he was 'worried' and their son was 'in bits' over his mom's disappearance. In a Facebook post on Monday, Litt claimed his wife was 'not safe' and is 'in a mental health crisis and needs intervention immediately.' 'She was observed being dragged around a market by the person she is with. She is being manipulated and controlled,' her husband wrote. 'When confronted by the gentleman who spotted them because she was his dentist, the guy she was with started yelling at him,' he added. He claimed Nadler Litt was 'scared' of Nestor and had not been 'forthright with the police'. In a later Facebook post, he sought someone to take care of the couple's pet birds, claiming he could no longer care for them, before later rescinding the offer to give them up Litt said police had told him not to speak to the media. He said the news have 'done enough damage with misinformation' and declined to comment further before shutting the front door. Nestor's wife, who has asked not to be named, have been told their spouses are 'safe' and have not seen them since they disappeared. Nestor's wife told the Daily Mail she reported him missing after he failed to return home from a trip to see his 'friends' on October 11. After he failed to reply to her increasingly frantic calls, texts and emails, she went on his computer and found loving emails she claims show her husband was having a decade-long affair with Nadler Litt, who was their dentist. She said she traced his phone's last location to Nadler Litt's home. Nadler Litt sparked panic among family and friends when she failed to show up for work at Family Dentistry, in Dallas, Georgia, on October 14 and was reported missing. Friends revealed she had worked at another dental office on Villa Rica Way in Marietta the day prior. Her sudden disappearance came just before a planned trip to Japan with her husband. Loved ones frantically searched while her coworkers requested a welfare check. Her phone was found inside her house during the welfare check, but her car and wallet were missing. Nadler Litt's car was later found abandoned in a parking lot along Barrett Parkway, Cobb County, a discovery that worried friends and relatives, who described her disappearance as 'completely out of character.' Her husband was visiting their son Stephen at his out-of-state college when she disappeared and reported her missing. Jamie Leister Smith, a friend and coworker of the dentist, previously told the Daily Mail she last spoke with her two days before her sudden disappearance. According to Smith, Nadler Litt had dinner that evening with another friend and was scheduled to leave for her international trip just two days after she was reported missing. Facebook photos show the family smiling together, going on vacations and celebrating their son's accomplishments. Nadler Litt graduated at the top of her class from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1999 and completed a residency at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Jersey. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association and the Northwestern District Dental Society. She has lived in Marietta since 2004 with her husband, son, and two pet birds.
