Motorola’s upcoming Edge series Android phone, suspected to be called the Motorola Edge 70 for global release, just popped up in some new renders this week, and they give off a good view of the device from several angles. More importantly, though, for those who adore Motorola’s use of vibrant colors, is that the Edge 70 comes in another brilliant green hue that is sure to please consumers. Worth noting that this refers to the green color in the images below, and not the main one above.
The Motorola Edge 70 is thought to be the recently-teased Motorola X70 Air. The X70 Air is Motorola’s upcoming answer to the iPhone Air. It’s set to be Motorola’s first ultra-thin phone, and it seems like these two Motorola phones may be the same device. Companies rebrand devices with different names for different regions all the time. So, this shouldn’t be a surprising revelation.
Motorola Edge 70 renders showcase two colors for the upcoming phone
It’s not clear how many colors of the Edge 70 Motorola will be releasing. However, it is clear that the company is doing at least three or four colors. Of the two new ones from this most recent leak, one will be green, which is being referred to as Lily Pad. The other is a darker tone, which is being called Gadget Gray.
Both device colors offer a pleasing aesthetic, but the Lily Pad color is what really draws attention. It’s a shade of green we’ve not seen much, if at all, in phones. It does bear a striking resemblance to the Sage color of the Peak Design Travel Backpack, though with a little more bright green infused. Either way, it’s a nice color.
In addition to the two phone colors, the renders showcase that both options have accented colors for a few key design elements. Namely, the camera sensor rings and the Moto AI button. These will also be different for each phone color.
