A new community is making life a little easier and a lot more social for mums in and around Marbella. Marbellaś Mom Club was launched this autumn to help mothers connect, share experiences and build a real sense of community on the Costa del Sol. The group, created by local mum Gadiek, has quickly gathered interest thanks to its relaxed events at gorgeous venues. Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for years, the idea is simple: to bring mums together in a supportive and social space. Marbellaś Mom Club has also teamed up with The Governess & Co, a lifestyle and childcare consultancy that works with families across the coast. Together they’re creating fun and family-friendly events, from casual coffee and play mornings to exclusive brunches, where mums can meet and kids can play. The first meet-up took place in September at Boho Club, where a group of mums enjoyed coffee, breakfast and a relaxed morning of chatting and connection. “It was lovely to meet other women who just get it,” said one attendee. “Everyone was so friendly and it felt really natural.” Now, the group is gearing up for its next get-together on Saturday, November 8, from 12 noon to 2pm at the elegant Hotel El Fuerte Marbella. Set on the hotel’s scenic Terraza de los Pinos, the gathering aims to give parents a chance to unwind, connect and enjoy a sociable afternoon while little ones are entertained with crafts and playtime. The aim, organisers say, is to make Marbella feel a little smaller and a lot more welcoming for parents who might find it hard to make new friends. The group was created to offer a space that feels easy and pressure-free, where mums can meet others, share experiences and enjoy a sense of belonging. Marbellaś Mom Club is known for its welcoming community of parents who share advice, organise meet-ups and support each other through family life on the Costa del Sol. The Governess & Co, a trusted childcare and household staffing agency, is collaborating to provide a safe and engaging experience for children. With a beautiful beachside setting and a focus on connection, the upcoming “Coffee & Play” event promises to be a fun and relaxing way for mums to meet new friends and enjoy quality time with their little ones.
