Kawasaki India has launched the MY26 Kawasaki Versys-X 300 in India, priced from Rs 3.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Built as a lightweight adventure-tourer, the Versys-X 300 pairs a 296cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin with a six-speed gearbox and assist-and-slipper clutch, and targets riders who want touring capability without the mass of bigger machines. Kawasaki positions the model for both city commutes and weekend trips, outfitting it with long-travel suspension, 19-inch/17-inch spoked wheels, 180 mm ground clearance and a 17-litre tank for longer runs between stops.
