Condenados al Bordillo breaks barriers with new programme ‘Menejant-nos’ to transform lives of people with disabilities.
The charity Condenados al Bordillo, based in Denia and with more than 20 years of experience supporting people with disabilities, has launched an ambitious new initiative called Menejant-nos.
The project is designed to improve the quality of life of people with different abilities through fully adapted training sessions tailored to each participant. Its goal is clear: to ensure that they enjoy the benefits of sport and physical activity in a safe, motivating and transformative environment.
Sessions will be led by three graduates in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, all specialists in adapted exercise. Their training and experience ensure safety, effectiveness and personalised support. The initiative also counts on volunteers and monitors who strengthen the work of the technical team, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
The charity highlights that sport not only enhances personal autonomy and physical health but also has a very positive impact on family life. For this reason, the project has received the backing and trust of Denia’s Department of Sports, which has made its launch possible.
“Promoting the participation of people with different abilities in a municipal sports activity is the essence and driving force behind this project,” the organisation explained.
With this initiative, Condenados al Bordillo reaffirms its long-standing commitment —active since 2001— to work for and with people with disabilities, promoting projects that foster autonomy, social integration and quality of life.
