FLINT, MI – A new sports bar in downtown Flint is readying to opening its doors to the public. Levels Sports Bar & Grill, 526 S. Saginaw St., is holding a grand opening celebration at 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 24. Opening inside the space formerly occupied by The Loft, which closed last year, is “the vision of Flint natives and brothers Deonta Brown and Montez Brown,” according to a news release. “Together, the owners have created a space that blends the excitement of live sports with a premium dining and nightlife experience,” the release states. The sports bar will enforce an exclusive age requirement -- women 25 and up and men 30 and up – for patrons “ensuring a sophisticated and upscale atmosphere.” “We’re proud to bring something new and unique to downtown Flint,” said Deonta Brown in a statement. “Levels is more than a sports bar — it’s a place where people can celebrate, network, and enjoy themselves in an elegant atmosphere. Flint deserves this.” Levels will also feature the VIP Lion’s Den Sports Legends Spotlight, a monthly event honoring athletes and coaches for their contributions on and off the field. The program aims to inspire future generations through mentorship and community pride.
