New anti-ageing eye cream has 20% off and gives noticeable results in just one week

The delicate eye area is often the first to show signs of ageing with lines, bags and dark circles, but we reckon we’ve stumbled upon a new eye cream formula with some seriously impressive results – and we’ve also found the cheapest place you can currently snap it up.

High-performance skincare brand Shiseido has recently unveiled its new Vital Perfection Uplifting and Firming Advanced Eye Cream, proven to be three times more potent on wrinkles than retinol alone, and with noticeable results after as little as one week.

Usually fetching £75 for a 530ml pot from retailers such as Lookfantastic, Cult Beauty and Boots, it currently has 20% off at Debenhams, bringing it down to £59.20 – and it’s flying off the shelves.

With apparently only a few pots of this size still up for grabs on Debenhams, your next best bet is to buy the jumbo 75ml pot, which is down from £130 to £104, and offers the best bang for your buck at £1.37 per ml.

The key anti-ageing ingredient in this formula is Shiseido’s ‘SafflowerRED Technology’, and in the brand’s clinical trials, the eye cream was proven to improve eye area sagging, dark circles and deep wrinkles in 32 women after just one week. The product also comes with a cooling roller tool to depuff the eye area and maximise results, reports the Mirror.

What’s more, the striking before-and-after snaps above are untouched photos of a tester after using this twice daily for eight weeks; the area appears noticeably smoother, brighter and more youthful.

Shoppers have been quick to sing the praises of this new eye cream on the Shiseido website, dubbing it “luxurious” and “amazing”:

“The silky texture glides on smoothly, providing hydration without tugging, and it works great under make-up,” one review reads. “The rollerball applicator is a game changer! I love how smoothly it glides. After a few weeks, my eye area feels softer, smoother and more refreshed. Have a noticeable decrease of the dark circles under my eyes.”

“The cream leaves my skin very soft and makes me want to look into a moisturiser from this line as well,” another concurred. “As an older woman, I have puffy under eyes, and fine to deeper lines around my eyes. The eye cream has seemed to lessen those lines considerably. Perhaps my wishful thinking, but the mirror says it works.”

A third review agrees: “I apply this in the morning and evenings and have noticed that the dark circles around my eyes are getting better. The cream has a good thickness and goes on smooth.”

However, not everyone was completely wowed, with one commenter writing, “I expect to see more results after longer usage.”

Naturally, even with the discounted price, this Shiseido eye cream might still be a bit steep for some. If you’re after a more budget-friendly option, give Olay Collagen Peptide24 Day Eye Cream a go, currently half price at Boots for £19, or this luxurious Clinique eye cream, now down to £26.25.
