More than 40 maths educators and researchers have written an open letter calling on the Ministry of Education and Minister of Education to pause the latest curriculum rollout immediately. The university professors, lecturers, teaching fellows, maths mentors and maths curriculum leads are questioning why the maths curriculum has been re-written for the third time in three years, saying they were “deeply concerned” by both the changes themselves and the process used for its development.
