The glamorous daughter of a renowned fashion designer has been ripped to shreds for her catwalk at her mother’s New York Fashion Week runway show.

Kit Keenan, the 26-year-old daughter of fashion icon Cynthia Rowley, has been flamed for her strut through Wagner Park as she sported one of her mom’s designs.

The self-proclaimed ‘Young Martha Stewart stuck in Blair Waldorf’s plotline’ wore a mini black dress – covered in dazzling engagement rings – for Rowley’s 101st fashion show on Saturday.

Wearing black high heels, Keenan flashed a subtle smile as she walked in front of the audience, which enjoyed the show in front of the park’s stunning views of the Hudson River and the city’s skyline.

Reflecting on the runway experience with Elle Magazine, Keenan – known for sharing her home-cooked meals online – admitted she was ‘so nervous’ when she walked in front of the crowd.

But her supportive mother said her daughter is a natural in fashion modeling.

‘I didn’t have to coach her on anything,’ Rowley responded when asked if she gave her daughter any tips for the runway.

‘Because guess what? She’s been at every runway show since, actually, before she was born. She’s been observing and she killed it.’

But some social media users were less than impressed with Keenan’s performance.

‘What is this walk?’ one user shared alongside a video of Keenan’s strut.

Many commenters had a humorous take on the video of her intense strides.

‘It’s giving Blair Waldorf in that photo shoot where her mom replaces her w Serena,’ one person said, referencing the show Gossip Girl.

‘When the pinot grigio is hitting,’ another user reacted, with someone else chiming in: ‘Me when I’m late to class so I have to lock in on the walk.’

‘This is the walk you do at work when you think you’re serving (delulu day)’ someone wrote.

‘This is the walk you do when your little sister steals your skirt WITHOUT asking and you hear her come back at 11:59,’ another user joked.

One woman said: ‘This is literally how I walk when I’m high as f**k at cvs on a Tuesday.’

Others thought the walk was ‘stiff’ or ‘too fast,’ and that she was only given the runway opportunity because Rowley is her mother.

‘Nepo baby final boss,’ someone called Keenan. ‘How could she be so bad at everything lol,’ another wrote.

‘Cool def let your kids walk in your fashion shows idc. I’m just surprised she doesn’t have “runway” training or something. Why’s she walking the way I walk in heels?’ a user asked.

Another said Rowley ‘did her dirty’ for letting her walk without proper training, although the designer said her daughter had been surrounded by modeling all her life.

But some viewers swooped in to defend Keenan, who is also known for appearing on season 25 of The Bachelor.

‘I think she’s just nervous,’ someone wrote, with another saying the reason her walk looks different from the other models’ is simply because she is shorter.

‘Walking for NYFW as a 5’4″ girlie,’ Keenan, a fashion enthusiast herself, wrote on TikTok after the show, noting that she experienced ‘imposter syndrome.’

One user clapped back at the quip about Keenan ‘being bad at everything,’ saying: ‘Ohhhh this is mean. I like her semi-homemade recipes and Pilates videos!
