Team India, under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, clinched their first-ever Women’s Cricket World Cup title against South Africa by 52 runs on Sunday, ending a decades-long wait. On the other hand, Deepti Sharma’s amazing spell of 5 for 39 sealed the victory, dismissing South Africa for 246 in 45.3 overs, despite Laura Wolvaardt’s incredible century.
