The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to release a joint manifesto for the upcoming Bihar assembly elections on Friday,October 31, sources said. All top leaders of the alliance, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, LJP(RV) president and Union Minister Chirag Paswan are likely to be present during the manifesto release. The NDA is likely to release its joint manifesto for the Bihar assembly elections at 9:30 am on Friday. The NDA includes the Bharatiya Janata Party, Janata Dal (United), Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), and Rashtriya Lok Morcha. As per reports, NDA's manifesto is likely to focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure and woman empowernment among other issues. Mahagathbandhan Releases Manifesto For Bihar Polls Earlier this week, opposition alliance (Mahagathbandhan) had released its manifesto for the upcoming Bihar election. The 32 pages long document contained promises like an assured government job to at least one member of every family in the state, which, as per a caste survey conducted a few years ago, is home to more than two crore households. Top Points Law will be enacted to provide government jobs to one member of each family in state within 20 days of the formation of INDIA bloc government. All Jeevika CM (Community Mobiliser) will be made permanent and given status of government employees. Salary will be Rs 30,000 per month. Old Pension Scheme (OPS) will be implemented. Every family will receive 200 units of free electricity.The APMC Act will be reinstated. Extremely Backward Classes Atrocities Prevention Act will be enacted. Under 'Mai Bahin Maan Yojana', women will receive Rs 2,500 per month as financial assistance starting December 1, and Rs 30,000 per year for next five years. Contractual and outsourced employees will be made permanent. Educational city will be set up on 2,000 acres, along with industry clusters and five new expressways. Waqf Amendment Act will be halted and Waqf property management will be made transparent, welfare-oriented, and useful.Bihar Assembly Election 2025 Political temperature is all set to hit the roof, especially in the 121 assembly segments, out of a total number of 243, which go to polls on November 6 in the first phase. The rest of the seats will go to polls on November 11, in the second phase, and the votes will be counted on November 14.
