NBCUniversal is putting aside all upfront doubt.
Though NBCU didn’t announce its 2025 upfront event until last spring, the company is wasting no time setting its 2026 event date, returning to Radio City Music Hall on Monday, May 11. Meanwhile, Telemundo will host an “exclusive client experience” on Tuesday, May 12.
NBCU’s presentation will showcase NBC’s 100th anniversary, as well as the premium content, live experiences, and cultural events it has ahead. The company noted the event will also feature the “combined strength” of NBCU properties and those of its cable spinoff, Versant.
For the 2026-2027 upfront season, NBCU will continue to represent all domestic Versant networks and associated digital content, including CNBC, E!, Golf Channel, MSNBC, Oxygen, SYFY, and USA.
Telemundo has traditionally held its event on Monday evenings following NBCU’s presentation; however, the company moved to Tuesday last year after Amazon set its presentation for Monday night. NBCU noted that Telemundo’s Tuesday experience will entertain clients ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“For over 100 years, NBC has defined the U.S. television landscape for generations of viewers,” Mark Marshall, chairman, NBCUniversal global advertising and partnerships, said in a statement. “As we head into our centennial year, we’re not just celebrating our legacy—we’re setting the course for what’s next. This upfront, we’ll showcase the future of advertising, content, and technology, highlighting NBCUniversal’s leadership in innovative ad solutions and tapping into the full power of our ecosystem to unlock new possibilities for brands, creators, and audiences.”
According to NBCU, its 2025-2026 upfront delivered its “highest ad sales volume” in its history, with record sales commitments overall and its largest digital upfront. Sports also drove growth, with the NBA returning to NBC and the company having its highest-grossing NFL season.
