Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The state enterprise Navoiuran has officially joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest initiative promoting corporate sustainability. The company’s participation underscores its commitment to human rights, fair labor practices, environmental protection, and anti-corruption measures, while integrating these principles into its daily operations. The UN Global Compact unites over 24,000 companies worldwide that implement ten universal principles of sustainable development. By joining, Navoiuran signals its strategic focus on transparent governance, environmental sustainability, and responsible business practices. As part of its membership, the enterprise will submit an annual Communication on Progress (CoP) report, demonstrating transparency in its actions and achievements in adhering to the Compact’s principles. Additionally, Navoiuran plans to actively participate in global and regional programs under the initiative, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
