Accra: In line with the firm assurance of His Excellency Rtd. Brig. Julius Maada Bio to parents, youths, and communities across Sierra Leone, the National Taskforce on Drug and Substance Abuse has intensified nationwide operations in the fight against Kush and other harmful substances. According to Sierra Leone News Agency, these renewed efforts are focused on disrupting the Kush supply chain, dismantling distribution networks, and enhancing community vigilance through coordinated action. Across the country, local leaders, law enforcement agencies, health professionals, and youth groups are joining forces to protect communities, raise awareness, and provide rehabilitation and treatment support for victims of substance abuse. This united front reflects a united national resolve to safeguard Sierra Leone’s future-one community at a time.
