The Ghana National Service Authority has released the first batch of postings for the 2025/26 service year, deploying 85,159 personnel to both private and public user agencies to undertake their one-year mandatory service. These personnel were drawn from all accredited tertiary institutions, it said in a statement, adding that it excludes applicants who were hindered due to data mismatch. To check placement, personnel are directed to log onto the official website of the Authority via gnsa.gov.gh; print the Appointment Letter; and proceed to the place of posting for endorsement. They are then to book an Online appointment for purposes of registration at designated Regional Validation and Registration Centres, then proceed to the centre with their endorsed appointment letters and Ghana Card to complete the process on the set date. “Be informed that Regional Validation and Registration will start on Wednesday, 29th October, 2025 and end on Friday, 21st November, 2025,” it said in a statement issued on October 28. It warned personnel to refrain from engaging the services of ‘middlemen’ for changes in postings and other related issues, emphasising that it does not recognise the services of these so-called ‘middlemen’. It announced that the 2025/26 national service will officially begin on Monday, November 3, 2025. Meanwhile, it said persons who experienced data mismatch challenges and have either had it resolved or are pending review will be placed in the yet-to-be-released batch. Story by Hajara Fuseini
