National All-Stars successfully defended their Armageddon Street-ball Series crown, defeating hosts Team Spirit in the final at the Pike Street Tarmac.
National All-Stars bested Team Spirit 3-2. With the victory, National All-Stars walked away with $50,000. Jeremiah ‘Jerry’ Softleigh led the East Ruimveldt-based outfit with a double, while Dwayne Baptiste recorded the other conversion.
According to the tournament organisers, the event will continue to be staged on a weekly basis, as it serves as a form of preparation for several of the notable teams in this format.
