The curtains are rising once again for one of India’s most celebrated performing arts events – the Delhi Theatre Festival (DTF). Returning for its highly anticipated sixth season this November, DTF promises three days of powerful performances, iconic stories, and an unforgettable celebration of theatre’s timeless allure. With a stellar line-up featuring the country’s finest stage actors, this year’s edition is all set to be its grandest yet. The festival will take place on November 14, 15, and 16, across four iconic venues in Delhi NCR — Siri Fort Auditorium, NCUI Auditorium, OP Jindal Auditorium, and Aurum Conventions, Gurugram. American Express returns as the Title Sponsor for the sixth consecutive year. Platinum Card Members enjoyed a five-day exclusive presale window, along with continued benefits including 20% savings and a complimentary companion ticket on select seats. Supporting this creative vision, M3M India joins as the Powered By sponsor, reinforcing DTF’s mission to make world-class theatre accessible to Delhi’s audiences. Sharing his vision for Season 6, Mr. Prabhu Tony, CEO and Co-founder of Alchemist Live, said, “Over the past five seasons, Delhi Theatre Festival has grown from a city event into a cultural landmark. With Season 6, we’re reimagining the festival at an even larger scale — one that includes premieres, legends, and new voices all sharing one stage.” Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah added, “Delhi Theatre Festival has been a constant companion in my journey over the years, and it feels special to return yet again with Einstein. Every season brings new energy, new audiences, and new stories — and that’s what makes this festival such a vital space for theatre.” Echoing that sentiment, Rajat Kapoor shared, “DTF has become a space where stories find the audiences they deserve. Bringing Karamjale Brothers here for its Delhi premiere is exciting — it’s always a thrill to see how Delhi responds to new work.” Vinay Pathak added with his trademark wit, “Every time I come to DTF, I feel like I’m part of one big family reunion — only with a lot more drama! This year, with Karamjale Brothers making its Delhi premiere, I’m doubly excited to share the stage (and the mischief) with audiences here.” Making his DTF debut, Makarand Deshpande said, “This is my very first time at Delhi Theatre Festival, and I’m truly looking forward to it. Sir Sir Sarla has travelled to many cities, but bringing it to a festival that celebrates theatre with such passion is something I’m eager to experience.” With 12+ shows and an expected footfall of over 15,000, DTF Season 6 is poised to be the largest edition yet.
