The Phoenix Raceway is ready to host the 38th annual Championship Race this weekend. The 2025 NASCAR Cup Series’ 36th race, a 312-lap contest, kicks off at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 2.The Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, Arizona, boasts a one-mile-long track. It hosted the first Championship Race in 2020. The Phoenix track has nine degrees of banking in the frontstretch, three degrees of banking in the backstretch, nine degrees of banking in turns 1 and 2, and 11 degrees of banking in turns 3 and 4.The Phoenix Raceway will also host the NASCAR Xfinity and Truck Series championship races this weekend. In addition, it’s a second appearance on the Cup Series calendar in 2025.The Championship Race will feature 37 drivers. Like the other NASCAR Cup Series racetracks, practice sessions will open the Cup weekend on Friday (October 31) at 5:35 p.m. ET, followed by qualifying on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET.
