Nara Smith has cooked something up, and it’s not homemade bubblegum or a DIY peanut butter-and-jelly sandwich but a new collection with Reformation.
The model and TikToker — whose videos making a variety of meals from scratch while dressed in superfluously extravagant clothing rack up millions of views — has partnered with the Los Angeles-based clothing brand on a 20-piece capsule collection. The vintage-inspired lineup includes gowns, two-piece suits, heels, sweaters and skirts — all sustainably made, and ranging in price from $148 to $448.
Standout pieces in the collection, which Smith models in campaign imagery released Monday morning, include a dramatic, sequined V-neck gown; a maroon two-piece skirt-jacket set in a striking silhouette; this breezy, polka-dot blouse; and this luxe, gingham PJ set.
Since launching in 2009, Reformation has carved out a place as fashion’s “cool girl” label, blending eco-friendly designs with Instagram-ready style. Best known for romantic slip dressed, vintage-inspired florals and flattering silhouettes, the brand has also built its reputation on sustainability, using deadstock fabrics, regenerative textiles and transparent impact reports. Their partnership with Smith is just one of many pop-culture tie-ins the brand has made in recent years to keep their pulse on the zeitgeist and tap into a new audience. Most recently, they partnered with Gen Z “It Girl” Devon Lee Carlson on a limited-edition line and Kacey Musgraves on a country-inspired collection.
Smith, meanwhile, has partnered with dozens of luxury brands, such as Marc Jacobs and Calvin Klein, throughout her career — first as a model, and now campaigns as a content creator. However, this collection is the time she has co-designed an original collection.
