STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The state of New York has posted several new job Staten Island listings for the month of November, with many previously posted positions still open in the borough. State government is comprised of a diverse workforce, providing valuable services to millions of their fellow New Yorkers. New York state hires individuals who are afforded opportunities that touch every part of public life — including education, environmental conservation, and even health care. The state employs people of all ages, backgrounds, and education levels — from first responders to engineers, nurses, research scientists, and plow drivers. The newest postings for November 2025 include: Administrative Law Judge/Assistant Administrative Law Judge for the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles. The application is due by Feb. 2, 2026 Developmental Assistant 1, a health-care role within the state Office for People With Developmental Disabilities. The application is due by Nov. 20, 2025. Registered Nurse 1, a healthcare/human services role within the state Office for People With Developmental Disabilities. The application is due by Nov. 19, 2025. Currently, more than 25 previously posted New York state positions remain open on Staten Island.
