A New Jersey man who robbed four businesses in Hudson County at gunpoint in a span of a few hours has been sentenced to 33 years in state prison. Joel Krecz, 38, of Hackensack must serve at least 28 years before he is eligible for parole, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office said. Krecz robbed the following businesses in the early-morning hours of April 30, 2022. A liquor store on Summit Avenue in Union City. A gas station on Route 3 in Secaucus. A business on Paterson Plank Road in Union City.
