The wait is finally over! Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood, is now officially streaming on Netflix. In the series, Sahher Bambba essays Karishma Talwar, the daughter of superstar Ajay Talwar, played by Bobby Deol. Interestingly, Sahher made her film debut with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas, directed by Sunny Deol, which also marked the acting debut of his son, Karan Deol.
According to the actress, “life is just coming to a full circle.” Amidst the release of her new film, Sahher opened up about her experience working with Sunny and Karan Deol. She also shared how she met Bobby and Abhay Deol.
Sunny Deol Is Like Family to Sahher Bambba
In an interview with The Times of India, the actress shared, “I met Sunny Sir when I was shooting with him for my first film. They literally became like family, because we spent so much time in Manali, just workshopping and other stuff, and much later we got into the shoot. So, by the end of it, it was really like a family kind of atmosphere.”
How Sahher Bambba Met Bobby Deol
During that time, Sahher also had her first brief encounter with Bobby and Abhay Deol. She recalled, “I happened to meet Bobby Sir, Abhay Sir, but that time was very brief.”
Years later, fate had bigger plans. When Aryan Khan revealed that Bobby Deol would be playing her on-screen father, Sahher was moved by the poetic twist of destiny.
She recalled, “And I still remember when Aryan told me that Bobby Sir is going to be playing your father, I was like, life is just coming to a full circle, just sharing screen space with Bobby Sir. “
Acknowledging the opportunity to work alongside such a seasoned actor, she added, “I’ve learnt a lot, and I’ve always admired his work. My mom is his biggest fan.”
It seems Bobby Deol is quite the mom-favourite, whether it’s Aryan Khan’s mother Gauri Khan or Sahher Bambba’s mother Shilpa Bambba.
